Hi, I’m Rachel (a.k.a. Rae),
I grew up in Owen, WI and currently live in Stanley, WI with my husband, Garret, and our 2 boys, Linkn and Hudson. We have a growing farmstead where we are simplifying our lives by living organically through the love of gardening, raising our own animals, exploring mother nature and is where we began our journey with Rae’s Roots LLC, Hair, Healing, Handmade.
Hair.
A passion for helping others through the works of my hands has led me to this journey I have dreamed of, but this time with a new mindset. I have done deep research to provide clean, organic products that are free from hidden toxins and am dedicated to providing a professional and non-toxic environment for your wellbeing here at Rae’s Roots LLC.
Healing.
We were determined to find healing when the trials of Garret’s health issues couldn’t be healed through medical science. With hours of relentless doctor visits and unanswered questions, we sought help from our own Holistic Health Practitioner. Through the dedication of eliminating food sensitivities we have also discovered the value of excluding toxins, chemicals, and pesticides. Because, when you give your mind and body what they need, they do amazing things.
Going through this change alongside Garret has led me on my own healing journey. What I have to offer through my holistic services can be beneficial to one’s own being. Taking time to “just be” still, letting go or aligning our bodies through one of my Reiki sessions can allow a deeper healing in itself.
Handmade.
At Rae’s Roots LLC you’ll also find the joy that my hands bring to me. Through my hobbies of baking, gardening and crafting, you’ll find the artistic side of me brought out in my personal favorites.
We all need that reminder to slow down and “just be” present, so don’t be afraid to put yourself first so you can be more present with others. I would love to help you on your healing journey while I still work on mine alongside you!

All cuts include a consultation, wash, scalp massage and thermal style using natural and professional salon products that utilize the natural, beautifying power of plants.

Color services are free from irritating ingredients such as ammonia, PPD’s, resorcinol, gluten, soy or animal ingredients to create a more comfortable color experience. All color services include a consultation, wash, scalp massage and thermal style.

Scalp Therapy
Scalp therapy treatments are personalized to your hair and provide deep moisture to promote healthy, shiny hair. Essential oils help protect the hair and scalp from current and future damage. Add on to current service or schedule alone.

Lashes
A look that no mascara can compete with! Semi-permanent lash extensions are attached to your natural lashes with non-toxic, low-fume glue that is made from naturally derived ingredients and great for sensitive clients. After the initial lash application, fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain full, beautiful lashes.

Waxing
Hair removal through the application of a warm wax that removes the hair from its follicle. Tweeze and trim are included.

Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support the body’s natural healing process and restore physical and emotional wellbeing.
